Print Designer
Set for the press, not for the feed.
Describe the piece, and the designer lays out a front and a back against your own brand. Each side becomes a file you approve before anything is charged or printed. Then it ships to you, or it goes straight into the post from a list you already keep.
01
The catalogue
Twelve things it will set.
Every piece in the library is tagged to the physical product it belongs on, so choosing a door hanger narrows the briefs to the ones written for a door hanger, and choosing your industry narrows them again.

02
The brief
A blank prompt is the hardest part, so it is not one.
The library is curated rather than infinite: written briefs grouped by what you are actually trying to do. Pick one and it arrives filled in. Briefs built around a listing pull that listing's address, price and specifics into the text, so the designer is working from the real property rather than a placeholder.
Your brand travels with the job. Attach one or more brands to a design and each carries its own configuration; brand colours are stored with CMYK values beside the hex, so what you approved on screen has a press equivalent rather than a guess.
03
Two sides
Nothing prints until you say so.
A design is generated a side at a time, and each side produces its own print-ready file. A piece stays unapproved until you mark it approved for print, and that flag is what the ordering flow reads. There is no path where a press receives something you have not looked at.
04
Two ways out
Ship the box, or skip it.
Print to ship
The run is quoted on quantity, stock and destination, submitted to the print partner, and then followed by status from the moment it enters production through to the day it lands.
Direct mail
Choose one of your CRM contact lists or upload your own as a CSV or spreadsheet. Addresses are validated, the list is synced and verified against the press, and the piece goes out without ever passing through your office.
05
The bill
Four charges, and one of them refunds itself.
- Generating a design
- Charged in cash credits, priced from the model you pick and checked against your balance before it runs.
- The print-ready file
- 950 credits a side. Order a print run of the piece and its downloads become complimentary.
- Print and postage
- Quoted through the print partner on the real quantity, stock and destination before you commit.
- The subscription
- There is not one. Credits are pay as you go on OpenLuxe, one cent each.

Before you order
The two things worth knowing early.
Runs start at a hundred pieces. That is the minimum the app applies, and it is the same hundred on every format the press stocks, so a print job is planned in hundreds even though designing one is not. Turnaround and postage are not fixed either: both are quoted per order against the address you are sending to, which is why the number arrives before you approve the spend rather than after it.

Colophon
Write the brief. Approve the proof. Post it.
The designer sits inside OpenLuxe beside your listings, your brands and your contact lists, which is the only reason a postcard can carry the right address and the right logo without you retyping either.
