Configuration Examples

Mark as won when entering "Closed Won" list:

Field: deal_status

Mode: replace

Field: actual_close_date
Value: today
Mode: replace

Increase priority on urgent tag:

Field: priority
Value: urgent
Mode: replace

Add margin when deal closes:

Field: profit_margin
Value: (calculated)
Mode: replace

Template Variables

Use dynamic values in updates:

  • {{card.title}} - Current card title
  • {{today}} - Current date
  • {{user.name}} - Trigger user name
  • {{list.name}} - Destination list name

Best Practices

  1. Be specific: Only update fields that need changing
  2. Use conditions: Avoid updating every card
  3. Test carefully: Wrong updates can be hard to undo
  4. Document changes: Use notes to track why fields changed
