Creating a New Brand
Create brands at any level of your organization, from franchisor to individual agent.
Starting Brand Creation
From Brand Manager:
- Click "+ Create New Brand" button
- Or click "Create Your First Brand" if none exist
Step 1: Select Brand Level
A modal appears asking "Who are you creating this for?"
Choose the appropriate level:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Franchisor (Brand) | Top level organization or franchisor |
| Brokerage (Franchisee) | A franchisee or subsidiary that belongs to a brand |
| Office (Franchise Location) | A specific location or branch |
| Team | A group or department within an office |
| User (Agent) | An individual agent or user brand |
Step 2: Enter Brand Information
Required Fields:
Name:
- Enter your brand name
- Example: "Smith Real Estate Team"
- A slug is auto-generated
The slug:
- URL-friendly identifier
- Auto-created from name
- Made unique if duplicate exists
Step 3: Select Parent (If Applicable)
For non-franchisor brands, select a parent:

Step 4: Create the Brand
- Review your information
- Click "Create [Brand Type]"
- Wait for creation
- Redirected to brand editor
After Creation
You'll be taken to the brand edit page where you can:
- Upload brand guide PDF
- Add colors and fonts
- Upload logos
- Set brand guidelines
Changing Brand Level
If you selected the wrong level:
- Click "Change brand level" link
- Select the correct level
- Continue with creation
Tips
- Choose the correct level first
- Parent selection is important
- Brand names should be unique
- You can edit details after creation
