Using the Audio Player
The Assets sidebar includes a built-in audio player for previewing audio files. Whether from Uploads, AI Media, or Sources, play audio without leaving the designer.
Triggering the Audio Player
The player appears when you:
- Click an audio file in Uploads
- Click an AI-generated audio
- Play audio from Freesound
- Select any audio source
Player Location
The audio player appears:
- Below the tab navigation
- Above the asset grid
- Stays visible while browsing
- Closes with X button
Player Controls
Play/Pause Button:
- Large central button
- Click to toggle playback
- Green gradient styling
Restart Button:
- Skip to beginning
- Left of play button
- Useful for re-listening
Skip Next (Sources only):
- Play next track in list
- Right of play button
- Available when browsing sources
Close Button:
- X in top right
- Stops playback
- Hides player
Waveform Visualization
For Uploads and AI Media:
- Visual waveform display
- Click anywhere to seek
- Progress shows playback position
- Color indicates played portion
Progress Bar
For Source audio:
- Simple progress bar
- Click to seek
- Drag to scrub
- Shows elapsed/total time
Time Display
Shows:
- Current position
- Total duration
- Format: 0:00 / 3:45
Track Information
Displays:
- Filename or track name
- Truncated if too long
- Full name on hover
Tips
- Use restart to preview from beginning
- Waveform shows audio dynamics
- Click waveform to seek precisely
- Close player when not needed
- Player persists while browsing
